The Bicentennial Gala — Saturday, June 6, 2026
Join us for our Bicentennial Gala, FOREVERGREEN — a festive evening to honor our roots, celebrate our growth and invest in the future of Western Reserve Academy.
Mark your calendar and spread the word about this once in a lifetime unforgettable finale to our Bicentennial Celebration Weekend! Keep your eyes out for a formal invitation after the first of the year and in the meantime, scroll further down for an overview of the evening.
FOREVERGREEN: Evening Program
- 6:00 p.m. | Cocktail Reception: Begin the evening with a warm welcome down Academy Lane. Enjoy cocktails and conversation as Yemi Oyediran ’99 and his Jazz Quintet set the tone with smooth live music.
- 7:30 p.m. | FOREVERGREEN: Step into a transformed space of lights and greenery for our marquee celebration. Reunite with friends and fellow WRA community members over a seated dinner, then explore a host of special experiences throughout the evening, such as sharing memories in a one-of-a-kind recorded phone booth. Highlights also include the premiere auction, featuring once-in-a-lifetime offerings — among them, a custom 1967 Shelby Cobra in Reserve Green, built by WRA students.
- 9:45 p.m. | Fireworks & Festivities: The celebration continues into the night with a dazzling fireworks display, followed by dancing under the tent near the Hockey Pond. DJ Suga Ray, Brooklyn-based Pioneer Partner of Jessy Smith ’01, will keep the dance floor alive as we raise a final champagne toast to two centuries of Reserve, and to the future we will build together.
