Classroom Antics Tech Camp in Wilson Hall

This week, Wilson Hall is full of life with the Classroom Antics Tech Camp taking place here on campus. According to Sheri Niedermyer, Camp Manager, approximately 72 kids, ages 7 to 13, are participating in four different disciplines; video game design, introductory coding, robotics and stop motion animation. The Classroom Antics Tech Camp takes place across Ohio, in the “greater area” of the major cities of Cleveland, Cincinnati and Columbus. Niedermyer noted that each camper has access to an individual laptop and a copy of the relevant software and materials necessary throughout the program. Class sizes are also kept small, 12 students to one teacher, and are tailored to the different age groups (7-9 and 10-13). Niedermyer added that one of her favorite parts of camp is “watching the kids get it and then own it, that’s fun!”
