A comprehensive, individualized approach

As your guides through the college search and application process, the College Counseling Office staff are a resource for students and families. Connecting with students in the classroom, in the dormitories, on the athletic field or at student activities, we are a part of our Pioneers' lives from their first day through commencement. In addition to our individualized approach and one-on-one meetings with students and families, we offer a host of other resources to provide additional information and added support throughout the process..

  • College admission representatives visit WRA every fall to meet with our students. These sessions are held in the dining hall over dinner where students engage with admission professionals. WRA is also excited to host two college fairs every fall as additional opportunities for students to learn about even more college options. Each month we publish The Road to College, a newsletter for students and families. This centralized communication is a helpful roadmap through this exciting journey.
  • All WRA students and their families are given access to MaiaLearning, a college and career web-based service designed especially to help manage college applications and much more.
  • Beginning junior year, WRA students can access Methodize, an online, self-paced test prep program for both the SAT and ACT at no additional cost
  • WRA is a member of the Cleveland Council of Independent Schools. The CCIS College Counselors host a variety of special programs for students and families throughout the year. Program topics include financial aid, the college admission landscape, and athletics. The CCIS also hosts an annual spring college fair.
