Dear Members of the WRA Community,
On Monday, April 5, our testing provider BowTie will be back on campus in the MAC to conduct COVID-19 testing for members of our community — students, faculty and staff. Not all members of the community will need to be tested this time. In this letter you will be asked to determine and indicate your need for a test.
I. Determination of Requirement for Testing

II. Additional Details for Those who Must be Tested
Testing will be conducted on Monday, April 5, from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Special note: If you are a boarding student who stayed on campus during Spring Break, you will receive an email from SignUp Genius designating your specific time on Monday for testing).
BowTie has further improved its efficiencies and will provide plentiful testing times on Monday. As such, we ask that all day students, returning boarders, faculty and staff schedule a Monday testing time. If travel or other considerations make Monday testing impossible, please contact the Student Life Office at deans@wra.net, the Health Center at healthcenter@wra.net, AND the Technology Office at technology@wra.net.
We will follow the same testing protocols as were in place during our previous testing days. Day students are asked to return home after testing, and boarding students will be asked to limit any campus activity to primarily their dorm rooms. Test results will be available, and communicated, by the end of the day on Monday.
For anyone who tests positive from the rapid test, a follow-up PCR test will be administered. Please know there is a small percentage of rapid tests that do result in a false positive. A positive rapid test should not be cause for alarm. A PCR test is necessary to confirm the presence of the COVID-19 virus. PCR results will be returned in approximately 36 hours. Until results are available, day students should isolate at home and boarding students will isolate in Hobart House.
Once we receive the results of the PCR test, we will follow our protocols of either clearing students who test negative or isolating the students who test positive and begin the contact tracing process.
Should a boarding student test positive on the confirmatory PCR test, he/she/they will either return home or isolate in Hobart House. Anyone identified as a close contact will be required to quarantine either at home or in Hobart House. Boarders within a reasonable driving distance to/from campus will be expected to isolate or quarantine at home.
If you have any questions, contact us at healthcenter@wra.net.
Stay safe and healthy, WRA Health Services
