Safe and Productive Physical Training
The mission of the strength and conditioning program is to provide sports specific, safe and productive physical training. We aim to create a space for education where each athlete has the opportunity to gain strength and reduce injury, as well as increase their performance in their respective athletic space. Our strength and conditioning coaches help build plans for individuals to reach these goals.
During preseason, members of our Athletic Office work with each team, addressing a variety of topics related to athletic success — from proper weight training and nutrition. A weight lifting class is also offered to upperclassmen throughout the course of the year. This allows our department to foster a passion for fitness, health and provide skills our student-athletes can carry throughout their life.
Athletic Training
Our athletic trainers are passionate about physical fitness, proper technique and good health habits, and they are ready and equipped to work with our athletes to keep them on the path to success.
Yoga
Connect the body, breath and mind. Physical posture, breathing exercises, meditation and flexibility are all part of this enriching afternoon experience.
Spin Class
Take part in indoor cycling to focus on endurance, strength and determination by participating in a mix of intervals, high intensity and recovery days.
