At this meet, every competing Pioneer ran either a personal or season best. What a feat! Congratulations to our runners!
The lady harriers came to compete and did not disappoint
On Wednesday afternoon, Reserve took on Laurel School in a home meet and won handily 20 – 36 (low score wins). The top two finishers were WRA runners Elba Heddesheimer '23 and Livia Taibon '25, who tied in a comfortable time of 23:31.
The course was sunbaked and fast, but tired legs, the humid weather, and the narrow, wooded stretches of the course made for challenging conditions. Despite this, the squad finished a very solid 5th of 11 teams in the combined Division II/III varsity race.

The future of the WRA program was on display with 9th grader Makayla Riles stealing the show
The Pioneers were led by a monster game from Tika Sallman
WRA 6 - Strongsville 1
WRA 4 - CVCA 3
The win improves the Pioneers record in the Ohio Prep Conference to 6-0.
On Saturday, part of the team went to Denison University to fence their Open tournament and on Sunday another part of the team went to Pittsburgh Fencing Center for their D and Under Mixed Foil and E & Under Women’s Foil.
Many athletes competed, placed, and qualified at this huge regional meet.
