WRA student-athletes celebrate National Signing Day

Eleven Pioneers sign letters of intent to compete at college level.

WRA had quite the showing on National Signing Day.

Last week, eleven members of the Class of 2022 signed National Letters of Intent to continue their athletic careers in the collegiate ranks, most of whom will play at the Division I level.

Reserve's signing ceremonies included seven WRA Lacrosse players, two from Basketball, one from Softball, and one from Wrestling.

All seven Pioneers from the Lacrosse program will join teams that compete in Division I:

Blake Eiland: Ohio State University

Cade Eldred: University of Denver

Ryan Favaro: Colgate University

Eoin MacKay: Binghamton University

Julian Race: Hobart College

Zach Snider: University of Detroit Mercy

Lee Frazer: Lafayette College

These members of "Brick Row Lacrosse" complete a well-rounded and incredibly skilled roster led by Head Coach Dylan Sheridan '02.

The college-bound WRA Basketball players are Tyler Linhardt and Braden Applehans. Linhardt will stay in his home state when he attends the University of Washington to play for the Huskies, and Applehans will join the Lobos of the University of New Mexico.

A highly-talented Softball player, Josie Spano signed her letter of intent to join Gannon University's softball program. Senior wrestler Evan Anderson officially committed to Army West Point, a program that faces some of the top competition in College Wrestling.

Congratulations to all of our student-athletes! We can't wait to see your adventures unfold.
