Boys Cross Country
On Saturday, October 5, the Pioneers participated in the Medina Invitational. WRA finished in 16th place out of the 19 teams in attendance.

Girls Cross Country
WRA traveled to Laurel School on Wednesday, October 2. The Pioneers earned a 27-32 victory.

In their second race of the week, the Pioneers also took part in the Medina Invitational on Saturday, October 5. WRA finished 8th out of the 17 teams that participated.

On Monday, October 7, the Pioneers dominated Orange in a 6-0 win.

On Thursday, October 3, the Pioneers hosted Andrews-Osborne and won 182-229.

On Monday, October 7, the Pioneers concluded their season at the IPSL Golf Tournament held at Sunnehanna Country Club in Johnstown, PA. WRA faced off against Kiski and Linsly. The Pioneers finished their season with a 13-3 record and took 3rd place in IPSL.

On Wednesday, October 2, the Pioneers rang the victory bell after beating Our Lady of the Elms 3-1.

WRA traveled to Andrews-Osborne on Monday, October 7. The Pioneers were defeated 0-3.
Game notes: 13-25, 12-25, 15-25 loss
The Pioneers concluded their season on Tuesday, October 8, when they faced off with Garfield Heights. WRA lost 1-3 and their season record fell to 5-16.

The Pioneers record fell to 3-3 after losing a 17-20 heart breaker to St. Thomas Aquinas. Darius McKenzie scored 2 touchdowns for the Pioneers and Sam Bingaman kicked a field goal.
The Pioneers traveled to Hawken on Thursday, October 3, for a game under the lights. WRA was held scoreless in a 0-2 loss.
On Monday, October 7, WRA lost a tough match to Chippewa 2-3. The Pioneers ended their season with a 8-5-2 record.

The state ranked Pioneers took on Hawken on Thursday, October 3. WRA had no trouble finding the back of the net in a 4-2 win.

WRA earned their third win in a row on Saturday, October 5, with a close 1-0 victory over rival University School. This win improves their record to 10-1-3.

The Pioneers are officially the 2019 Champions of the Tri-County Soccer League! In addition, the Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association State Poll was released on Monday, October 7. The Pioneers moved up 1 spot in the rankings to #5 in Division III boys soccer.
On Tuesday, October 8, the Pioneers hosted Walsh Jesuit. Neither team could find the back of the net as the game ended in a 0-0 tie.
