The Western Reserve Academy girls basketball team fell to 5-10 on the season after losing to James A. Garfield 49-38 Jan. 28 in Garrettsville.

The Western Reserve Academy girls basketball team fell to 5-10 on the season after losing to James A. Garfield 49-38 Jan. 28 in Garrettsville.

Although she scored just 4 points for the Pioneers, Junior Jade DuVal reached the 1,000-point plateau. She now has 1,002 career points.

Caleigh Tiley led Reserve with 16 points. She made four 3-pointers. Abby King added a trio of 3-pointers on her way to 15 points.

Garfield's Grayson Rose led all scorers with 18 points.
