Reserve an adventure for your camper this summer through WRA's Summer Programs

At the end of the school year, we bid our Pioneers a fond farewell and welcome back a fleet of excited campers for Summer Programs. Western Reserve Academy's summer offerings include a wide selection of camps, practically tailor-made to suit every interest.

Want to create your own video game and dabble in Minecraft coding? Check out Classroom Antics.

Would you rather don an apron, wander around Cleveland's historic West Side Market and prepare a delicious meal for your family? Try our Cooking Camp.

Would you prefer the basketball court and enhancing your skills with scrimmages, conditioning and teamwork? Be sure to sign up for our new offering, Basketball Camp.

And if you simply want to have an adventure... we'd love to tell you all about our premiere and longest-standing offering, Adventure Camp.

Simply put — at Reserve, we have a summer program for just about anybody.

This year, we are offering more than 20 camps that will suit not just a wide variety of interests, but also a large span of age groups. Camps like Playmakers, Pirates and Princesses are perfect for children ages 5–8 — while our middle school-aged students can choose from a diverse selection of programs, from Mastering Middle School to Digital Fabrication. Even high-schoolers can participate this summer by getting a head start on their college application and SAT/ACT tests through our academic offerings.

Here are a few of our new, premiere camps:

  • Young Launchers: Let your entrepreneurial spirit soar as you and your team learn how to develop and launch your own new product and create targeted marketing, design and sales materials. You'll refine your presentation, then celebrate your successful launch for our "Shark Tank" competition on the last day of camp. On field trips to start-up ventures and business incubators in NE Ohio, you'll see how entrepreneurs are getting to do what they love while working for themselves.
  • Western Reserve Academy Basketball Camp: Led by WRA Varsity basketball Coach Thomas Adams-Wall and his staff of WRA varsity and college players, this basketball program will improve player skill and enjoyment of the game. Each day will provide skill development, conditioning, teamwork and lots of scrimmaging. This is an instructional, player development camp in a fun atmosphere.
  • Complete Field Hockey: Training will begin with an introduction to the basics and progress to more complex three-dimensional skills. By the end of camp, we will be working on tactical game skills such as penalty corners and strokes, overtime 1 vs. 1 and scrimmage play.
  • Western Reserve Academy Wrestling Camp: Western Reserve Academy Wrestling Camp is designed with multiple group stations. The camp serves beginner, intermediate and experienced levels. Program emphasis is on developing technique rather than serving as an intensive training camp. Areas of teaching emphasis will include leg attack offense and defense from the neutral position highlighting set ups, shots and finishes.
