Earlier this season, nine outstanding Hudson businesses were recognized for making a significant impact on the Hudson community and economy. WRA's Wang Innovation Center was among them, receiving the City of Hudson Broadband Award from the Hudson Area Chamber of Commerce. It also received a Certificate of Congressional Recognition from Representative David Joyce.
On November 15, the city's Economic Development Department and Hudson Area Chamber of Commerce hosted their annual Business Awards Breakfast at JOANN Conference Center. WRA Chief Innovation Officer Matt Gerber, joined by End User Support and Systems Technician Caitlin Fritz and Network Manager Brian Schwartz, accepted the awards on behalf of WRA.
As the awards were presented, Economic Development Director for the City of Hudson, Jim Stifler (alumni parent of Nathan '09, Colin '10 and Ryan '15) extended his congratulations to WRA.
"The Wang Innovation Center has reinvented the school's curriculum...the school now uses gigabit broadband and teaches 21st century skills such as robotics and artificial intelligence," he said.
