CJ Polak '13 named new Boys Lacrosse Head Coach

Western Reserve Academy is proud to announce CJ Polak '13 will lead the WRA Boys Lacrosse Team as its new Head Coach.

Before his return to WRA to serve as the Assistant Director of Admissions, Polak was the Assistant Lacrosse Coach at Muskingum University. Prior to Muskingum, Polak attended The College of Wooster and was a member of the men's lacrosse program, captaining the team in his senior year.

His years of experience also including coaching True Lacrosse, a leading club team in the U.S. Locally, he works with Burning River Lacrosse, the top travel program in the region. Polak looks forward to developing WRA's players and continuing to build the success of the program, as well as sharing his love of the game with the athletes.

Fine & Performing Arts Department faculty member Johnny Buck will be the team's Assistant Coach. Buck coached Girls Lacrosse for five years at Chatham Hall, the Virginia Boarding School where his family lived and worked prior to WRA. Prior to Chatham Hall, Buck coached JV Boys Lacrosse at New Hampton School for six years. He played lacrosse at New England College, the University of Arizona and in high school.
