Golf Loses A Narrow One to CVCA
Joey Randazzo

A poor team performance overall saw the team fall 175-174 and slip to a 3-4 record on this 2022 campaign.

You could not have asked for a better day to host Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy
at beautiful Lake Forrest Country Club than Tuesday afternoon. The course is pure as can be and the "Links Pioneers" took full advantage of the fact.

Strong performances from Senior Captain Brendan Gallagher (36, even par) and Junior William Bartlett (41) led the green and black, but a poor team performance overall saw the team fall 175-174 and slip to a 3-4 record on this 2022 campaign.

Bartlett is struggling off the tee as of late, but hard work on the driving range and great course management this afternoon led him to fire a 41, matching one of the best numbers of his career.

Gallagher has been steady, and his return to the line up last week has allowed the team to hit stride and begin to show improvement on the golf course. The Pioneers continue a busy week Thursday afternoon, when they head to Shaker Country Club to take on the Raiders at 4pm.
