News: Duke announces scholarship winner

Danica Liu '10 was one of 15 high school graduates to be selected for the prestigious Angier B. Duke Memorial Scholarship, an undergraduate merit award at Duke University.

The A.B. Duke Scholarships are awarded to outstanding students who show promise of being intellectual leaders. The awards cover full tuition plus room and board for four years (one year may be spent abroad on a university-approved program) as well as a six-week summer study program at Oxford University in England.

Based on estimated tuition rates, a scholarship will be worth more than $200,000 to a student over a four-year period.
