Student soloists will be featured in concert with Western Reserve Academy music ensembles at the Knight Fine Arts Center on Thursday, May 27 at 7:30 p.m. in the Knight Fine Arts Center.

Senior Simon Yang of Korea will perform the Allegro movement from Haydn's Concerto for Cello with the Academy Orchestra.

Senior Kristy Shen of Taiwan will perform Rimsky Korsakov's Concerto for Clarinet and Military Band with the Western Reserve Symphonic Winds.

Also included on the program are the Adagio from Beethoven's Third Piano Concerto played by Joseph Marmerstein '11 of Beachwood and the second movement of Grieg's Piano Concerto in A Minor played by Aylin Sarac'12 of Canfield, Ohio.

This spring concert will close with the combined forces of the Academy Choir and Symphonic Winds performing patriotic music.
