Reunion
2007. Alumni returning to campus for Reunion Weekend 2007 found
a number of reasons to celebrate. Some were captured in pictures.
Please take a moment to view Reunion Weekend photos
that give a flavor of the many events scheduled throughout the weekend.
Weekend Summary. As Reunion Weekend 2007 kicked off on Friday,
June 8, alumni golfers were nervous as to how the Fifth Annual Alumni
Association Golf Classic would fare in the face of possible inclement
weather. Sure enough there was rain -- along with some thunder and
lightening to make things interesting -- but that didn't keep over
100 golfers from bringing their "A" games to the Country
Club of Hudson. After a spot of afternoon storms, the skies cleared
just in time for post-dinner fireworks which were viewed from the
Ellsworth patio.
On Saturday, the sun came
out full force and over 400 alumni and guests enjoyed the traditional
picnic, soccer game, guest speakers and the immensely popular Saturday
evening individual class dinners. In addition, retired faculty master
John Breuker was the master of ceremonies at a beautiful and heartfelt
chapel tribute to wife and longtime science department faculty member
Christine Breuker, who retires this summer after 34 years at Reserve.
The consensus of the alumni
in attendance was that the weekend was a perfect trip down memory
lane and the ideal way to reconnect with classmates and become reacquainted
with Reserve.
